Quarterly gatherings Toronto · Austin · London · Seattle · & growing
Chai & Chaat.
Pull up a chair. Spill the chai. Spill the chai on investing.
Quarterly intimate gatherings of South Asian women from every walk of life — small business owners, scaled founders, operators, almost-angels, full angels. The room where we all cross paths because the culture is what brings us together.
Complimentary series, no membership required. Didi members and Brown Girl Angels Collective members get first right of refusal on every seat.
The room
Where the conversation starts.
Chai & Chaat is exactly what it sounds like. Chai, chaat, and sometimes we mix it up with dosas and a wider South Asian spread — always sourced from a local South Asian-owned spot like The Bite Box in Austin.
It looks like good food in a beautiful room. It is, actually, the room where South Asian women from every walk of life cross paths — women starting their small business journey, founders who've scaled and moved into retail or raised a Series A, operators, almost-angels, and women already writing checks. We all show up because the culture is what brings us together, and we're here to support each other's journey, wherever each of us is on it.
We sit. We snack. We talk about money the way our families never did out loud — with each other, and on our own terms.
The conversation is the on-ramp. Hosted in Toronto, Austin, New York, and San Francisco — and growing wherever the brown girls are gathering.
The room, in real life
What it actually looks like.
What it looks like
An afternoon. A room. A real conversation.
- 2–3 hours, intimate format — 20 to 40 women, never more
- Curated chai, chaat, dosas, and a wider South Asian spread from local South Asian-owned spots
- Hosted in members' homes, restaurant partners, and co-working spaces — wherever the room feels right in that city
- A short, real conversation on money, building, investing — never a lecture
- Mostly: time to actually meet the women in the room, on purpose
Who it's for
Brown girls from every walk of life.
- Women starting their small business journey — the very first chapter
- Founders who've scaled, moved into retail, or raised a Series A
- Operators and execs one to three years from their first check
- Angels and almost-angels who want a softer, slower room
