Monthly long-table dinners · Curated, intimate, members only By application
Brown Girls, Desi Dinners.
Six to eight South Asian women. The best desi restaurant in town. The conversation that aunties don't have — the one didis do.
Hosted monthly by a BGA Collective investor in each city. Access to the table is included in the Angel and Didi memberships when they launch this fall — early seats opening now by application. The dinner itself is pay-your-own-way at the restaurant. Intimate by design.
Building a company? The Desi Dinners table is for senior operators and angels. Founders, your table is the Founder Edition.
The table
A long table. The right women.
Brown Girls, Desi Dinners is small on purpose. Six to eight women, one long table, monthly — hosted at the best desi restaurant in each of our cities by a Brown Girl Angels Collective investor who lives there. No name tags, no panels, no pitches. Pay-own-way.
Just a real dinner with women you would not otherwise be seated next to. Senior operators. Active angels. Almost-investors. Quiet powerhouses already in the room. The kind of conversation that makes you walk home and text three women you met.
This is where the long pipeline starts looking like a long table — where representation on both sides of the table stops being a slide deck and starts being a Tuesday night. Triumphs, struggles, intertwined lives. Eldest daughter conversations. The brown girl traumas we don't say out loud anywhere else.

One seat, one dinner
The Guest Seat.
Want to sit at the table before you commit? Every Desi Dinner holds one to two Guest Seats — open to women who have already applied to the Brown Girl Angels Collective or joined the Didi Membership waitlist. One dinner, one woman, one room. The seat is free; the dinner itself is pay-your-own-way at the restaurant.
The host investor in each city decides which dinner the Guest Seat opens at — we want every guest to land at the right table for the room she's stepping into.
How to request the Guest Seat
- Apply or join the waitlist first. Brown Girl Angels Collective application if you're an accredited investor, or the Didi Membership waitlist if you're not.
- Once you're in our system, request the Guest Seat. Tell us which city and roughly when. We'll reach out when a seat opens.
- One dinner per woman. After your Guest Seat dinner, the door to the table is membership.
A long table. The right women. The conversation aunties don't have.
