Brown Girls, Desi Dinners is small on purpose. Six to eight women, one long table, hosted monthly at the best desi restaurant in each of our cities by a Brown Girl Angels investor who lives there. No name tags. No panels. No pitches. Pay your own way.

Just a real dinner with women you would not otherwise be seated next to. Senior operators. Active angels. Almost investors. Quiet powerhouses already in the room. The kind of conversation that makes you walk home and text three women you met.

This is where the long pipeline starts looking like a long table. Where representation on both sides of the table stops being a slide deck and starts being a Tuesday night. The Guest Seat.

Want to sit at the table before you commit? Every Desi Dinner holds one to two Guest Seats, open to women who have already applied to Brown Girl Angels or joined the Didi wait list.

One dinner, one woman, one room. The seat is free. The dinner itself is pay your own way at the restaurant.

The host investor in each city decides which dinner the Guest Seat opens at. We want every guest to land at the right table for the room she is stepping into.

How it works
  1. Apply or join the wait list first. Brown Girl Angels application if you are an accredited investor, or the Didi wait list if you are not.
  2. Once you are in our system, request the Guest Seat. Tell us which city and roughly when. We will reach out when a seat opens.
  3. One dinner per woman. After your Guest Seat, the door to the table is membership.
