If you are building it, here is the room.

Brown Girls, Money Moves is the community side of brown girl capital. Many of us, winning together, from scarcity to abundance. Here is how founders show up, whether you are raising this quarter or three years out.

The room

The community side of brown girl capital.

Brown Girls, Money Moves is the cultural movement. The women who want to be part of the change, pay it forward, and shift the narrative from scarcity to abundance. Many of us, all winning together.

The check writing side is Brown Girl Angels, our sister collective for accredited South Asian women investors. This side, Money Moves, is the community. Ticketed rooms, a monthly founder table, and a direct line to the collective when you are ready to raise.

Not every founder is raising this quarter. Some are three years out, still building the wedge, still refining the deck. All of you belong in the room. Pick the door that fits where you are.

Three doors

01 · Raising right now

Pitch the collective.

Actively raising with at least one South Asian woman on the founding team. Brown Girl Angels is the room. Weekly screening, member led diligence, decisions in one to two weeks.

02 · Six to twelve months out

Get on the radar early.

Not raising yet, but close. The same Brown Girl Angels portal is your front door. We would rather build the relationship before the round than meet you the week you are trying to close.

03 · In the community

Ticketed sessions, on your terms.

Not every founder is raising. The community is open to you through ticketed sessions. Panels, workshops, evenings, salons. You pick what you show up for, when you have the bandwidth.

For ongoing engagement

The Founder Edition of Brown Girls, Desi Dinners.

For founders who want more than a one off event. A table that meets monthly, curated by the founder lead in your city, where the conversation is founders supporting founders.

Knowledge transfer, vendor intros, and the kind of opportunities that move you forward. Liking each other's pages. Buying each other's products. Introducing each other to someone who actually uses what you make. Showing up when a launch needs the room.

  • Monthly gatherings curated by your city's founder lead
  • Founders across verticals, sharing knowledge, vendors, and opportunities
  • Private WhatsApp threads, one per city, plus a general thread for all members
  • Not always a dinner. Gallery walks, picnics, morning walks, trail hikes. The format follows the city and the season.
